Welcome to My Kind of (Sports) Town

I've decided to write this blog for a number of reasons. I care (probably too much) about all of my Chicago teams, to the point that I incessantly bother all of my friends and family on a consistent basis with texts, phone calls, screaming at the television, and even Facebook posts. As a result, I figured that in this day and age, the only natural result of that behavior is to join the masses of sports-writer wannabes and start a blog.

Moreover, this blog will serve as an outlet for my (mostly) frustration and happiness regarding these Chicago teams, and whether anyone reads it or not, should be fun. I'm also going to post about general things in the sports world. Let me know what you think, and feel free to comment or let me know if I'm doing something wrong or could improve in some way. I'll try to post as often as possible, and given the up and down (and depressing) nature of Chicago sports, my inherent inability to do anything productive in school, and my borderline addiction to fantasy football, I'm not sure that will be a problem. I'm looking forward to it.

I know that I'm very excited about this new "project," too. You never cease to amaze me with your writing and drive for things you love. I'm sure I can speak for everyone that we're happy you have another outlet for sports and can make it your own.
